An assistant state attorney in Live Oak was fired Monday after she refused to stop speaking to tea party rallies and other groups, her boss said.

Prosecutor KrisAnne Hall asked a federal judge Friday  for a ruling that would have allowed her to keep speaking and prevented her boss, State Attorney Skip Jarvis, from following through on threats to fire her if she didn’t stop.

Courtroom arguments on that request hadn’t been scheduled by Monday afternoon, when Jarvis said he fired Hall shortly after receiving a copy of her federal complaint.

He called her a good prosecutor, who crossed an ethical line with her speeches and radio appearances.

“You can’t take a job advocating for the state and go out and take a position against the state,” Jarvis said. “I advised her from my first learning of her activity that she was free to say and do whatever she desired within the law, but she could not do so while assistant counsel for the state.”

Hall, 40, said she spoke about the original intent of the U.S. Constitution, smaller government, budget deficits and Florida’s lawsuit against health care reform. Describing herself as a disabled Army veteran, she said all are federal issues she’s passionate about.

“I never said anything bad about the state. I never said anything bad about Mr. Jarvis,” said Hall. “I love being an assistant state attorney, [but] I’m not ready to give up on my constitutional rights.”

Now instead of an injunction, she and her lawyer plan to amend their complaint to sue Jarvis for retaliatory conduct.

“To fire someone over their political views doesn’t set well with most folks,” said her attorney, Gary Edinger  of Gainesville.

Jarvis said he first learned of Hall’s activities last month from a constituent after she spoke at tea party gatherings in North Florida and on a Lake City radio station.

“They were confronting me about my office being used to legitimize what they consider to be a fringe right-wing group,” Jarvis wrote in an e-mail attached to Hall’s lawsuit. “I hate to do this, but I have to ask you to disassociate yourself from these folks.”

Hall responded that she was speaking on her own time and was careful not to be introduced as an assistant state attorney. She said she spoke in response to a request to help educate people about the Constitution.

Nevertheless, Jarvis responded that she was identified as an assistant state attorney and had to stop. After several more e-mail exchanges, she replied that he was being unfair.

“Even when I was in the military, restrictions on my constitutional rights were never so unreasonable,” she said. “… I fought for these rights in the military, and as a sworn officer, I am sworn to defend them.”

The e-mails were followed by a letter from Edinger to Jarvis, warning about a potential lawsuit and challenging the state attorney’s view that Hall’s activities were in any way disruptive to the State Attorney’s Office.

Jarvis responded by letter, also attached to the lawsuit, noting that his assistants serve as appointed representatives of the state and do so knowing their outside activities have boundaries.

“She has been given a directive and now must decide whether her desire to speak outweighs her desire to retain my appointment,” Jarvis wrote May 10. “It is her decision.”

The issue balances free speech rights and a public employer’s desire to protect the integrity of the workplace, according to labor and First Amendment lawyers contacted by the Times-Union.

Lawyer Ed Birk  said an elected state attorney can weigh whether an assistant’s comments impair the public’s perception of the office.

“There’s a legitimate interest of the state attorney to operate the office in a way that instills public confidence, so there are limitations he or she can put on the assistants,” said Birk, who has several media clients. “The rule is generally does the employee’s public conduct interfere with the proper operation of the office.”

In a small community, Birk said, prosecutors often are easily recognizable, and people will naturally associate an assistant state attorney’s public comments with the office she works for.

But labor lawyer Tad Delegal  said Hall has a legitimate First Amendment claim if she was speaking on her own time and her expressed viewpoints weren’t associated with her official duties.

Obama wants your 401K

The Obama Administration is making plans to take over the nation’s 401(k)s in order to bail out their union backers and their bankrupted pension plans.

In February, the White House released its “Annual Report on the Middle Class” containing new regulations favored by Big Labor including a bailout of critically underfunded union pension plans through “retirement security” options.

The radical solution most favored by Big Labor is the seizure of private 401(k) plans for government disbursement — which lets them off the hook for their collapsing retirement scheme. And, of course, the Obama administration is eager to accommodate their buddies.

Vice President Joe Biden floated the idea, called “Guaranteed Retirement Accounts” (GRAs), in the February “Middle Class” report.

In conjunction with the report’s release, the Obama administration jointly issued through the Departments of Labor and Treasury a “Request for Information” regarding the “annuitization” of 401(k) plans through “Lifetime Income Options” in the form of a notice to the public of proposed issuance of rules and regulations. Republican Leader John Boehner released this statement today in response to this recent move by democrats:

Keep Bureaucrats’ Hands off Americans’ 401(k)s

House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) and members of the House GOP Savings Solutions Group sent a letter to Labor Secretary Hilda Solis and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner warning the Obama Administration that the government should keep its hands off of the retirement savings of Americans, and should reject proposals that would dismantle or nationalize the private 401(k) system in favor of a government-run retirement security regime. Several Administration officials, including the Vice President, have voiced support for efforts to create so-called “Guaranteed Retirement Accounts” or impose new government mandates which would undermine 401(k) retirement savings plans and jeopardize employers’ willingness to continue offering them to their workers. Boehner issued the following statement:

“The American people are asking ‘where are the jobs?’ They aren’t asking for job-killing policies that jeopardize their retirement savings. Unfortunately, Washington Democrats are pursuing policies that make it more difficult to offer 401(k) savings plans to their workers, and some are even advocating replacing them with government-run accounts and ending 401(k)s altogether. That’s unacceptable and not the solution Americans need at a time when they are still rebuilding their retirement, college, and personal savings.

“Republicans are committed to offering better solutions, and the proposal we have offered – the Savings Recovery Act – will help restore Americans’ savings and ensure that Washington does not stand in the way of families’ ability to save more. It’s time for Democrats to stop advocating policies that will destroy Americans’ savings and work with Republicans on better solutions to help rebuild them.”

Several GOP House members signed on to a letter delivered to labor Secretary Hilda L. Solis and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner expressing their concerns today.

Obama’s Shadow Government

How many of these names do you recognize?

Adolfo Carrion, Aneesh Chopra, Ear; Devamey, Kenneth Feinberg, Carol Browner, Ed Montgomery, Todd Stern, Cass Sunstein, Ron Bloom, and John Brennan. If none of them ring a bell, it is because they and others are all part of a shadow government of some thirty “czars”; advisors to President Obama who did not submit to the Senate confirmation process and are exempt from Congressional oversight.

Article 2, Section 2, U.S. Constitution, an excerpt: He (the President) shall have power, by and with the advice and Consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate shall appoint ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, judges of the Supreme Court, and all other officers of the United States whose appointments are not herein provided for, and which shall be established by law: but the Congress may by law vest the appointment of such inferior officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the courts of law, or the heads of departments.” (Emphasis added)

The Constitution creates two types of positions in the executive branch: principal officers and inferior officers. The first of these are nominated by the president and confirmed by the Senate. The latter are not subject to this process.

The Obama administration began with a series of nominations that were found to be tax cheats and forced to withdraw before Senate confirmation. One of them, Van Jones, put in charge of “green jobs” was forced to resign when it became known that he was a self-identified communist. Carol Browner, responsible for environmental and energy issues, was on the board of the Commission for a Sustainable Society, the action arm of the Socialist International.

In the case of “special envoys” George Mitchell, Richard Holbrooke, and Dennis Ross, they all engage in ambassadorial duties, representing the nation to foreign entities and are responsible only to the president. Key elements of the nation’s foreign policy, particularly as regards the Middle East, remain hidden from the public, except in terms of the president’s public pronouncements.

All of the president’s cabinet secretaries in charge of various departments and agencies of the government are vested with administrative powers and all must be confirmed by the Senate. By virtue of the Administrative Procedure Act, these offices must hold public hearings and maintain records when decisions are made, thus creating a paper trail. All of these offices must have separate lines in Congress’s annual appropriations bills.

The bulk of the president’s czars are exempt from such oversight. They advise and answer directly to the president and a number of them exercise control over the decisions made by cabinet secretaries and agency directors, most of whom have been reduced to a role of carrying out their decisions, their agenda.

The U.S. government is being run out of the White House by a cohort of czars/advisors who do not answer to the American people and operate in the dark. This is part of the warning issued in “The Blueprint: Obama’s Plan to Subvert the Constitution and Build an Imperial Presidency.” The authors, Ken Blackwell and Ken Klukowski, are both attorneys with extensive knowledge of the Constitution. Blackwell has been an ambassador.

These czars are essentially unconstitutional and illegal.

All presidents have had advisors, but none prior to Obama have had so many and none have been delegated vast powers. They represent a violation of the separation of powers essential to a democratic republic and all violate the need and expectation of transparency and accountability.

Some have demonstrated in their past publications and present statements that they are wholly incompetent to hold such power. The regulations czar, Cass Sunstein, has said that animals should have the same legal rights as humans. The science advisor, John Holdren, has advocated putting chemicals in the drinking water or requiring devices that would neutralize fertility, including compulsory abortion.

John Brennan, the terrorism czar, responsible for homeland security, downplayed the near disaster of the Christmas “underpants bomber” and claimed that all possible intelligence that could be secured from him had been in less than an hour after his arrest!

All these czars function in direct contradiction of the long history of such advisors to presidents and in contradiction to the framework of the U.S. Constitution designed to ensure that the executive branch is answerable to Congress.

The function (or lack of it) of elected senators and representatives is ugly enough as seen in the failure of Congress to exercise caution in the passage of bills that affect the economy and the lives of all Americans. The U.S. debt has increased to levels not seen since World War Two. Obamacare was an ugly process of bribery and closed-door deals that resulted in a straight party line vote that was a repudiation of the will of the people.

No one knows what these unelected and unsupervised czars are doing, but you can be sure they all are loyal advocates and agents of the socialist transformation of America.

Another Judas Democrat Congressman turned traitor. His name is not “Stupak”, it’s “Stugots” – which is Italian slang for the word penis. That works for me.

I now pronounce political correctness dead. Obama has replaced political correctness with political corruptness. The Democrats jettisoned all their principles. You can’t travel lighter than that.

Let’s face it. Bribery has a name. It’s called “Black racism”. There’s no sense trying to bring back black hatred. It never went anywhere. The Obamacrats remain the rabble in ascendance.

These days television commercials are full of black people telling us how to live – just as Washington is full of black politicians telling us how to live. The only passwords you need to get into the White House are “If you’re black, you’re okay, Jack”. The Obama Administration will be remembered as The Great American Blackout.

Obama’s Healthcare Plan reminds us of the words of H.L. Mencken, who said, “For every complex problem there’s a simple solution that doesn’t work.” Even so, at the signing of his health care bill Obama was described as “happy as a Chinaman with his first blond”. In the meantime, the Caucasians have been left to wallow in the after-rot of the Civil Rights Movement.

The Obama Healthcare Plan’s most urgent effort will be a crash program for doctors to find a cure for a racially selective disease called nigger cell anemia. Health care is the cornerstone of the Obama’s Voo Doo Presidency. Perhaps Obama care should begin with doctors putting Nancy Pelosi’s tongue in a splint.

Joe Biden’s speeches invariably include “f” words and other vulgarities, which he is obliged to read from a device called a Porno-o-Prompter. (Obama’s teleprompter automatically converts claptrap into clichés.)

With Obama and the blacks taking over America these days, the cruise lines are equipping their ships with scrambling nets so the Caucasian passengers can go over the side. The American Ship of State has taken on a portside list. It is just a matter of time until the blacks cause it to founder.

The Democrat message is constant. Obama is the Jim Jones of Healthcare – so just drink your Kool aid and shut up!

The Democrat gloating has won out in Congress. The Democrat triumph has caused Patrick Kennedy to wet his pants and hopefully rust his zipper permanently shut. Incidentally, didn’t satellite photography reveal that the Ho Chi Minh trail ran through Cambodia and ended up in Hyannis Port?

The Obama Bribe-o-rama has won out. Barack is America’s Black Bag Man – not due to the color of the bag he carries. Anyway, if there is anything blacker than the Ace of Spades it’s Barack Obama’s heart. Chicanery is the only steady job this bastard ever had in his life. If there was anyone in Washington with a conscience there would be crime scene tape around the White House. Obama is the first President crooked enough to need a getaway motorcade.

Obama’s Chicago boyhood friends believed he would one day become President, or become involved in some other enterprise where his natural gifts would always require him to have police scrutiny.

Obama is working on his Middle East policy called Jewicide. Barack Obama has taken a three room apartment up Louis Farrakhan’s ass. Anti-Semitism has blossomed in the Obama household. Perhaps the White House dinner table is being set with fingerbowls containing the blood of Holocaust victims so the Obamas can dip their digits into their hemoglobin. Will the Obama’s Jew hatred justify the return of the word nigger? It is known that Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer will never do anything to offend Barack Obama – no matter how much it offends Jehovah. Jimmy Carter’s screwing of the Israelis has since become a Washington political tradition.

Fascists come in all colors. The black atrocity is alive and devoid of crayon colors. The Obama White House is now known as Uncle Slave’s Cabin. The tsetse flies are presently in a holding pattern over the Oval Office.

Obama’s next move will be to declare amnesty. Hussein-baby hopes by legalizing the immigration from Mexico he will be able to head off the coming graffiti shortage in America.

Michelle Obama, our Licorice First Lady, keeps complaining that American children are too obese – this from a woman who has a rear end like a Clydesdale.

In honor of Obama an Ivy League University plans to establish a chair in Black Poetry. The seat will go to the candidate who can find a word that rhymes with “muttherfukka”.

The Affirmative Action diploma certifying Inner City Ignorance should not be handed to the graduate but slipped under his door. Rather than all this university falderal it would be a better world if the 7 Eleven store managers held up the minorities.

The Obama Presidency is a case of the blacks leading the blacks. The Democrats have decided they’d rather be rabble than right. Is the answer to America’s financial problem to Tax the Blax?

In the White House they finally have the color of the Ace of Spades memorized.

The Democrats are suffocating the nation as a result of Obama over-exerting his authority as “The Head Nigger”.

Producers vs. Expropriators: America’s Coming Civil War?

April 13, 2010 — America is drifting toward civil war, albeit one that does not yet involve bloody battlefields.

This is not mere rhetoric. It describes a crack in the American community that since Barack Obama’s election as president has widened into a deep fissure and might split the nation apart. The divide is not based on regional, racial, or religious differences, factors that often set neighbors at one another’s throats. Rather, the conflict is between producers, those who work to earn their own way and prosper through their own efforts, and expropriators, those who survive by taking from others with governments as their agents.

In debt

What motivated hundreds of thousands of Americans to express their ire at government in Tea Party rallies coast to coast while others demonstrated at town hall meetings that saw members of Congress cowering before their angry constituents? What are the targets of outrage of those taking part in the 2010 Tax Day protests?

On top of 2008’s $700 billion bank bailout, there was the $800 billion stimulus package with a catalog of stupid and useless projects that could keep late-night comedians in jokes for years and that, by the way, did not stimulate the economy. There was the 2009 federal deficit of $1.4 trillion or 40% of the budget. There was the national debt, which was 50% of the GDP in 2008 and will approach 80% of the GDP in 2012.

And there was Obamacare, the new entitlements that will add at least $1 trillion, maybe $2 trillion—who can tell?—to the nation’s debt, with money borrowed from China to cover the overspending.

What’s new?

But governments have been redistributing wealth and spending wastefully big time since the New Deal. So what’s new today?

To begin with, the magnitude of the spending is unlike anything Americans have seen since a temporary spike during World War II. But today we don’t have a spike but, rather, a trajectory that is only going up. Americans know that such unconscionable irresponsibility will be taken out of their hides in higher taxes, higher inflation, and economic stagnation as governments squeeze more and more out of productive citizens and enterprises. The whole country economically will soon look like Greece or California.

Furthermore, Obamacare was rightly seen by productive Americans as a tipping point. The country really could go socialist. Obama brushes off the label, but it will soon be the case that government will openly and outright control over half of the economy.

In the past, statists justified redistribution programs as necessary to help those Americans who temporarily and perhaps through no fault of their own found themselves in dire economic straits. And too many productive Americans whose hearts throttled their brains actually bought this argument.

But with Obamacare statists simply asserted that everyone has a right to have health care paid for by their neighbors. (They don’t, by the way.) And everyone will be forced into the system and will obey the dictates of government apparatchiks or go to jail. And the corrupt and thuggish means by which Obamacare was passed gave productive Americans a vision of the government fist in store for their faces in the future.

With Obamacare many productive Americans made a psychological switch, seeing those on the other side of the issue not as opponents but as enemies.

Producer consciousness

What has morally outraged productive Americans—whether plumbers, store clerks, merchants, professions, or small-business owners—what galls them the most as they pay their taxes is the knowledge that the fruits of their efforts are bailing out those who purchased houses that they couldn’t afford and who made risky investments that didn’t pan out.

They’re outraged that as their jobs are threatened they must pay to prop up the salaries of auto workers who demand more for their services than the sales of the vehicles they make would cover. They’re outraged that their earnings pay the salaries of federal workers who now, for the most part, collect more than for similar work performed by private sector workers. And the feds are hiring thousands more IRS agents to squeeze everything they can out of productive Americans.

Their self-consciousness as producers is emerging. They see themselves as suckers and cash cows to be slaughtered by expropriators. They see themselves as the Atlases holding up a world of moochers and deadbeats. And they’re damned sick of it!

There is an even deeper divide between producers and expropriators. Most productive Americans not only take responsibility for their own lives and well-being, they also value their independence, their freedom to make their own lives as they see fit, not to make themselves subservient to politicians and government bureaucrats. Now they see their independence taken away from them in the name of those who allegedly can only survive as subjects of charity expropriated from them.

Beyond elections

The election of a Republican majority in the House and Senate might slow the growth of government, but it will not bridge the growing divide between producers and expropriators.

Some suggest that Americans will simply get used to the Euro-style socialism that Obama and his minions are imposing on them the way they eventually acquiesced in Medicare, Medicaid, and a long list of entitlements, with restrictions on freedom attached. And Europeans got used to it, in spite of adverse consequences like chronically high unemployment, low job creation, and high prices for pretty much everything.

This isn’t likely to happen in America. Too many Americans still have enough love for their own lives and liberty as well as pride in their achievements so that they will not acquiesce in their own servitude. The problem is that too many Americans also have swallowed the moral poison that their neighbors owe them medical care, an education, a job, a high salary—you name it. But this poison requires a self-blind lest they see just what moral midgets they’ve become. They blank out their brains with emotional screams that, because they can’t run their own lives, they should be allowed to destroy the lives of those who can.

And here is where the specter of a civil war comes in. Look at Greece, a European country where those who live through expropriation outnumber those who produce. That country is bankrupt, but it is the expropriators who take to the streets blindly defending the current system even as it leads all to destruction.

In the United States the producers, with minds wide open, should take to the streets, Tea Parties, town hall meetings, and ballot boxes to protect themselves and head off catastrophe. But they must fight a long-term battle for moral clarity, for the right of all to live by their own productive efforts for their own rational self-interest and against any claim that others have a right to take from them by government force. Only then will Americans live not as enemies poised for battle but, rather, with good will toward one another, dealing with one another as proud producers based on mutual consent.

The special force, which is the new name being given to the 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 3rd Infantry, has been training at Fort Stewart, Georgia and is composed of 80,000 troops.

According to the Army Times,

They may be called upon to help with civil unrest and crowd control or to deal with potentially horrific scenarios such as massive poisoning and chaos in response to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive, or CBRNE, attack.

The key phrase is ‘may be called upon to help with civil unrest.’

This afternoon a local radio talk show host reported that he had been in contact with a member of the military.  This military source stated that the armed forces have been alerted to the strong possibility that civil unrest may occur in the United States this summer, prior to the midterm elections of 2010.

The source described this as ‘our long, hot summer of discontent’ that could be eerily reminiscent of the summer of 1968 when riots broke out in many of our largest cities.

However, the summer of 2010 could well be much worse due to the players involved.  In 1968 the major players were war protesters.  This time, the outrage simmering beneath the surface of American society involves a broad cross-section of the heartland, and most of them are heavily armed.

It is highly unlikely that these citizens would ever initiate armed conflict of any kind.  In their view, gun rights are for self-defense–and for defense against tyrannical government, which our Founders regarded as the most dangerous force on earth.

However, it has become clear that other groups may well initiate violence in order to start an ‘incident’ that would give Obama and a rogue Congress a reason to implement martial law, confiscate the citizens’ guns, enforce curfews, and suspend all future elections until such time as it is deemed ‘safe’ to proceed with human liberty as encapsulated in the right to vote.

Tea Party members, for example, have been warned in recent days that members of Andy Stern’s SEIU union and members of the organization formerly known as ACORN plan to infiltrate Tea Party gatherings in order to incite some sort of incident that could result in armed conflict.

In addition, all indications point to a humiliating defeat for the Democrats and Obama in November.  Not only will the House in all likelihood transfer to Republican control, but it is increasingly possible for the Democrats to lose the Senate as well.

And there are Leftwing groups in this country that would use whatever means necessary to prevent that from happening.

ACORN has already gone underground, changing its name so as to fly beneath the radar screen.  How many people will  the group register to vote illegally?

And with Obama’s plan to naturalize between 10 and 20 million illegal aliens, a brand new voter base for the Democrats will be in place prior to November.

Add to this the growing unrest over continued high unemployment, the coming spike in interest rates and inflation, and the still-boiling outrage over the manner in which Obama and the Democrats shoved ObamaCare down the throats of the citizens, and all of the ingredients are present for a major F-5 tornado to sweep across the heartland.

To what extent would soldiers use deadly force during such ‘civil unrest’ should the Consequence Management Response Team be utilized?  During the anti-war riots of the 1960s they killed student protesters.  What about now?

The military source cited by the radio host today was asked this very question.  He would merely say that the culture of the U.S. military is changing–half support Obama and the other half are dead-set against him.

His conclusion?  There is no way to know for sure if they would obey an order to open fire on ordinary citizens.

Update:  The Cato Institute published this warning when the program was launched in its first phase in 2008 (the program has been updated and expanded since 2008). The Founders insisted that standing armies were never to be used against American citizens on our own soil, no matter what violations of this principle have occurred in the years following.  In the spirit of the Patriots and of real journalists government must be questioned constantly and held to intense scrutiny in order to preserve liberty.

The people that Generalissimo Obama has chosen to surround himself with are failures of epic proportions. An assault of unprecedented magnitude is taking place upon America and it is being driven by B. Hussein Obama. Listed below are just a few of the failures, mistakes, and assaults upon America committed by Obama and his minions, since January 20th 2009, when he took office:

Obama & China: Hey, let’s fly the Chinese flag at the White House, what could be the harm? What message could it send?

Government sanctioned desecration of bodies: Hey, why not take the organs without asking? Godless.

John Holdren: Forced sterilization, mandatory abortion and so much more. Nazi Germany brought to America.

Kevin Jennings: Fisting and your children, what could go wrong? How about allowing the man behind Fistgate to be Safe Schools Czar?

Van Jones: Avowed communist, radical, and racist put in charge of creating green jobs. He does, overseas. Oh, and he blames America for 9/11, calling it an inside job.

9/11: We will not honor the fallen from the attack upon America. Obama proclaims it interfaith day and honors Islam, the ones who attacked America.

Obama: Refuses to provide information about his past, raising major questions about his birth, his college days and why he surrendered his law license when charged with crimes. Nice.

Lockerbie: Obama knew of and allowed the release of the Lockerbie bomber. Who is now a hero, and still alive. Epic failure.

Bill Ayers: Frequent White House visitor, unrepentant terrorist and friend of Obama’s helping shape the brainwashing of America’s young.

Thug Politics: Muscling in on the banking, finance and auto industry is not presidential, it is communist, Un-Constitutional and immoral.

Free Speech: Obama declares war on free speech.

Off Drilling: It is good for everyone but America. In fact, Obama gives Soros two billion dollars to drill off shore, elsewhere.

Turbo Tax Timmy: Wonder boy, tax cheat, liar and fraud. Economy is still collapsing under the weight of his ignorance.

Scare Force One: Generalissimo Obama & the Air Force One joy ride around New York. How soon we forget his poor judgment started almost immediately, upon birth.

Nuclear Weapons: Obama decides Iran can have them and America cannot. What could go wrong?

Jihad: Obama lies, ignores and allows his Muslim brothers to run amok. Radical Islam removed from government language in the hopes it will be removed from America.

Homeland Insecurity: Multiple epic failures on behalf of DHS & Napolitano, making America un-safe once again.

Cap & Trade: Unemployment is high, the economy is poor, lets kill jobs & raise taxes. What could go wrong? We aren’t a third world country yet.

Health Care: Obama lies. Bill passes. We are finding out about the contents of the bill, including little things like no coverage for pre-existing conditions for children, and huge taxes on businesses, causing them to lay more people off.

Killing American Citizens: President Obama has authorized the intentional killing of Anwar al-Awlaki, of al Qaeda, because he is a security concern. He is an enemy combatant. He is also an American citizen. Think about that.

Where in the Constitution does it say that an American President (or Kenyan born American President) can order the execution of an American citizen because they are a security threat? Yes, he is a major pain in the posterior and an embarrassment to America. No, it wouldn’t bother me in the slightest if he was killed in military action, he is, after all, fighting against America. But, for the President to direct American forces and/or intelligence agencies to assassinate an American citizen without due process is not acceptable.

Once a president crosses the line and orders the execution of a citizen, without due process, it opens the door to abuse. Who is to say that Obama will not order the execution of a conservative blogger, activist, or politician? What would stop a conservative president from ordering the execution of some liberal? Worse yet, once that wedge is in place between the citizens of America and the government, what would prevent a citizen or group of citizens from turning the tables, since the government decided to start knocking off the opposition? This move by Obama is part of the unraveling of America.

It should not matter which party you are in or what your political philosophy is on this one issue. We should all agree, this is a dangerous path for America to go down, we are not a third world country yet, despite what our tin pot dictator believes. We are Americans in America and are still afforded protections under the Constitution.

A young woman was about to finish her first year
of college. Like so many others her age, she considered herself to
be a very liberal Democrat, and was very much in favor of the
redistribution of wealth.

She was deeply ashamed that her father was a rather
staunch Republican, a feeling she openly expressed. Based on the
lectures that she had participated in, and the occasional chat with a
professor, she felt that her father had for years harbored an evil,
selfish desire to keep what he thought should be his.

One day she was challenging her father on his
opposition to higher taxes on the rich and the addition of more
government welfare programs. The self-professed objectivity proclaimed by
her professors had to be the truth and she indicated so to her
father. He responded by asking how she was doing in school.

Taken aback, she answered rather haughtily that she
had a 4.0 GPA, and let him know that it was tough to maintain,
insisting that she was taking a very difficult course load and was
constantly studying, which left her no time to go out and party
like other people she knew. She didn’t even have time for a
boyfriend, and didn’t really have many college friends because she
spent all her time studying.

Her father listened and then asked, “How is your
friend Audrey doing?”

She replied, ” Audrey is barely getting by. All
she takes are easy classes, she never studies, and she barely has a
2.0 GPA. She is so popular on campus, college for her is a blast. She’s
always invited to all the parties, and lots of times she doesn’t even
show up for classes because she’s too hung over.”

Her wise father asked his daughter, “Why don’t
you go to the Dean’s office and ask him to deduct a 1.0 off your GPA
and give it to your friend who only has a 2.0. That way you will
both have a 3.0 GPA and certainly that would be a fair and equal
distribution of GPA.”

The daughter, visibly shocked by her father’s
suggestion, angrily fired back, “That wouldn’t be fair! I have
worked really hard for my grades! I’ve invested a lot of time, and
a lot of hard work! Audrey has done next to nothing toward her degree.
She played while I worked my tail off!”

The father slowly smiled, winked and said gently,
“Welcome to the Republican Party”

“During the American Revolution 70% of the citizens were loyal to the King or apathetic. The other 30% founded a Nation.”

“This country was built by the philosophy of equal opportunity, not equal results.”

The forms are on counter tops in all the stores I have been in,  in NJ .I would say that is fraud. I received 2 forms in the mail WHY 2 ???? I did not and will not fill out. When they knock on my door, I am going to test my Constitutional Rights to plead 5th admendment and tell the census taker to read me my Miranda Rights. I think their mouth will fall open. I will tell them how many people live here.

Barack Obama has awakened a sleeping nation

Barack Obama is the best thing that has happened to America in the last 100 years.  Truly, he is the savior of America’s future.  He is the best thing ever.

Despite the fact that he has some of the lowest approval ratings among recent presidents, history will see Barack Obama as the source of America’s resurrection.  Barack Obama has plunged the country into levels of debt that we could not have previously imagined; his efforts to nationalize health care have been met with fierce resistance nationwide; TARP bailouts and stimulus spending have shown little positive effect on the national economy; unemployment is unacceptably high and looks to remain that way for most of a decade; legacy entitlement programs have ballooned to unsustainable levels, and there is a seething anger in the populace.

That’s why Barack Obama is such a good thing for America.

Obama is the symbol of a creeping liberalism that has infected our society like a cancer for the last 100 years.  Just as Hitler is the face of fascism, Obama will go down in history as the face of unchecked liberalism.  The cancer metastasized to the point where it could no longer be ignored.

Average Americans who have quietly gone about their lives, earning a paycheck, contributing to their favorite charities, going to high school football games on Friday night, spending their weekends at the beach or on hunting trips – they’ve gotten off the fence.  They’ve woken up. There is a level of political activism in this country that we haven’t seen since the American Revolution, and Barack Obama has been the catalyst that has sparked a restructuring of the American political and social consciousness.

Think of the crap we’ve slowly learned to tolerate over the past 50 years as liberalism sought to re-structure the America that was the symbol of freedom and liberty to all the people of the world.  Immigration laws were ignored on the basis of compassion.  Welfare policies encouraged irresponsibility, the fracturing of families, and a cycle of generations of dependency. Debt was regarded as a tonic to lubricate the economy.  Our children left school having been taught that they are exceptional and special, while great numbers of them cannot perform basic functions of mathematics and literacy.  Legislators decided that people could not be trusted to defend their own homes, and stripped citizens of their rights to own firearms.  Productive members of society have been penalized with a heavy burden of taxes in order to support legions of do-nothings who loll around, reveling in their addictions, obesity, indolence, ignorance and “disabilities.”  Criminals have been arrested and re-arrested, coddled and set free to pillage the citizenry yet again.  Lawyers routinely extort fortunes from doctors, contractors and business people with dubious torts.

We slowly learned to tolerate these outrages, shaking our heads in disbelief, and we went on with our lives.

But Barack Obama has ripped the lid off a seething cauldron of dissatisfaction and unrest.

In the time of Barack Obama, Black Panther members stand outside polling places in black commando uniforms, slapping truncheons into their palms. ACORN – a taxpayer-supported organization – is given a role in taking the census, even after its members were caught on tape offering advice to set up child prostitution rings.  A former Communist is given a paid government position in the White House as an advisor to the president.   Auto companies are taken over by the government, and the auto workers’ union – whose contracts are completely insupportable in any economic sense – is rewarded with a stake in the company.  Government bails out Wall Street investment bankers and insurance companies, who pay their executives outrageous bonuses as thanks for the public support.  Terrorists are read their Miranda rights and given free lawyers.  And, despite overwhelming public disapproval, Barack Obama has pushed forward with a health care plan that would re-structure one-sixth of the American economy.

I don’t know about you, but the other day I was at the courthouse doing some business, and I stepped into the court clerk’s office and changed my voter affiliation from “Independent” to “Republican.”  I am under no illusion that the Republican party is perfect, but at least they’re starting to awaken to the fact that we cannot sustain massive levels of debt; we cannot afford to hand out billions of dollars in corporate subsidies; we have to somehow trim our massive entitlement programs; we can no longer be the world’s policeman and dole out billions in aid to countries whose citizens seek to harm us.

Literally millions of Americans have had enough. They’re organizing, they’re studying the Constitution and the Federalist Papers, they’re reading history and case law, they’re showing up at rallies and meetings, and a slew of conservative candidates are throwing their hats into the ring.  Is there a revolution brewing? Yes, in the sense that there is a keen awareness that our priorities and sensibilities must be radically re-structured.  Will it be a violent revolution?  No.  It will be done through the interpretation of the original document that has guided us for 220 years – the Constitution.  Just as the pendulum swung to embrace political correctness and liberalism, there will be a backlash, a complete repudiation of a hundred years of nonsense.  A hundred years from now, history will perceive the year 2010 as the time when America got back on the right track.  And for that, we can thank Barack Hussein Obama.

America must not and will not become like the seduced German people in 1933.  We will not stand by and watch Obama turn our country into Frankenstein’s laboratory, shredding our constitution, bill of rights and freedom as Hitler did with his country.

Tyrants and Dictators are predictably similar in how they take over.  They ride in as the savior of change and hope.  They offer health care,  jobs for all,  a refreshed national identity and protection from danger and harm….that is danger and harm they usually create to blame on enemies…..you know those groups who didn’t vote for them.  The rope circles around the seduced neck of the people only after the dictator bribes his way in or gets voted in.

One thing is for sure looking at recent history.  Once a socialist/communist dictator gets into power,  like terminal cancer, he and his administration smother and take control of every aspect of the economy,  educational system,  health care system and military.  They shred and control media, entertainment and religion.

In 1919,  Lenin wrote after his takeover of Russia that the way to control a country is to first take over the industry,  the land,  and the banks.  Lenin tricked and inspired millions and so did Hitler.  These dictators didn’t come in appearing like monsters.  They were the messiahs of change and hope.  Their exhaustive plans involved developing a huge and seduced ‘fan’ base at first while aggressively and quickly finding and destroying anyone against them.

Kitty Werthmann was living in Austria when Hitler took over Germany next door.  She recalls how deeply depressed Austria was in 1938.  Nearly one-third of their workforce was unemployed.  They had 25% inflation and 25% interest rates on bank loans.

People were begging for food and bankruptcies were happening daily.  Austria was in a mess, so they were thrilled when Hitler promised big things and was elected into power.  There was no talk of persecuting or attacking the Jews.  The Austrians were promised jobs, healthcare, protection and recovery.

Kitty said that after the election was over there was instantly law and order.  German officials were appointed everywhere and there was dancing in the streets.  Though Austria was largely a Catholic country, suddenly in schools everywhere,  all Catholic symbols and crosses were taken down and pictures of Hitler were put up everywhere.

Hitler targeted and controlled education and stopped religious instruction for kids in schools.  The new church for the children of Austria and Germany was still every Sunday, but it now was forced attendance at the National Youth Day.  The first two hours was political indoctrination every Sunday, then the rest of the day they played all kinds of sports.  Naturally, the equipment was free.  Children went home thrilled each Sunday and were getting brainwashed.  Parents had no choice but to send their children each Sunday or else be fined or taken to jail.

Hitler immediately introduced socialist health care.  People were going to the hospital for everything now,  lines were huge and doctors were paid a salary by the Government.  The Austrians soon paid 80% of their income in taxes.  Government gave loans for the newly married,  and took care of everything from day care needs to paying all College tuition.

As the noose tightened around education, religion, healthcare and enforcement, the ‘mercy killings’ started in. Kitty,  then a student teacher in a small village in the Alps, described 15 mentally retarded adults who were known in the community and did good manual work.  One day they were rounded up and taken to an institution where the State Health Department would teach them a trade and various skills. Their families where forced to sign papers saying that they wouldn’t visit them for 6 months.  They were told that any visits could cause homesickness and disrupt the program.

The letters started arriving back to the parents after several months saying these people had died natural deaths.  Of course, they all knew 15 completely healthy adults could not, six months later, have all died natural deaths.  They knew they were killed.  Euthanasia started to become more common as Hitler’s real world view of perfection started to come out.

Hitler’s final control step of the Germans and Austrians was Gun laws and control.  He started with gun registration.  Once that was done, he said that guns were causing too much crime and that it was best for all to turn in their guns.  They knew that authorities already knew who owned what so they complied.

When you look at Hitler, Saul Alinsky, Stalin, Lenin, Chavez, Castro and others, you see huge similarities with the strategy and world view of Obama.  It is the same, promise of health care, jobs and opportunities.  There is always a contrived crises or two the big Government has to magically solve, while blaming the enemies they want to create.

Obama is on the same control and dictatorship path as Hitler.  First we saw the massive seduction over 15 months; now the controls and intimidation grow with his administration.

This Health care bill might as well have been Hitler’s Enabling Act of March 23rd,  1933.  It also shreds our constitution and forces socialized health care on the people, rationing care for the unwanted and expensive seniors as they age, and forcing us all to pay for the Government slaughter of babies;  abortion.  This bill, run by the IRS, might as well be the Nazi party, as it encourages euthanasia, abortion and rationed care as Hitler did early on in Austria and Germany.

Rep.  Burgess stated the obvious about this nightmare bill when asked about the use of the ‘Commerce clause’  excusing forced mandates by the Government.  In a CNSNews.com interview Rep.  Burgess, a doctor, stated, “No, I personally do not, and I think that is exactly right.  Never before in the history of this country have we had the ability to coerce American citizens to purchase something and then invoke the Commerce clause after we coerce that purchase.”  He went on…..”It just flies in the face of what a free society should be, so I’m perfectly comfortable with the attorneys general bringing suit against this bill,”

Yes,  law suits are flying by Attorney Generals and other groups.  We must stand no matter how awkward,  inconvenient or expensive it is.  Our freedom and country is at stake.

Obama isn’t stopping with forced Health care and the controls attached to that.  He is going to manipulate votes by pushing amnesty for illegal aliens; controlling American businesses through cap and trade, then he will find a manipulative, back door way to come for our guns….most likely with a UN Treaty he is already working toward.

Obama continues to mock anyone who disagrees with him, and is now, according to the Wall Street Journal, stepping up Confrontation .  Obama must be voted out.  I don’t see any tin helmet on my head, and yes…..Obama comes from the same essence and evil as Hitler.

Getty Images Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood announced “the end of favoring motorized transportation at the expense of nonmotorized.”

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood has announced a “major policy revision” that aims to give bicycling and walking the same policy and economic consideration as driving.

“Today I want to announce a sea change,” he wrote on his blog last week. “This is the end of favoring motorized transportation at the expense of nonmotorized.”

The new policy, which was introduced a few days after Mr. LaHood gave a well-received speech from atop a table at the National Bike Summit, is said to reflect the Transportation Department’s support for the development of fully integrated transportation networks.

It calls on state and local governments to go beyond minimum planning and maintenance requirements to provide convenient and safe amenities for bikers and walkers. “Walking and biking should not be an afterthought in roadway design,” the policy states.

Transportation agencies are urged to take action on a number of fronts, including the creation of pathways for bike riders and pedestrians on bridges, and providing children with safe biking and walking routes to schools.

They are also encouraged to find ways to make such improvements in concert with road maintenance projects and to protect sidewalks and bike lanes in the same manner as roads (by clearing them of snow, for example).

Mr. LaHood also indicated the department is discouraging “transportation investments that negatively affect cyclists and pedestrians.”

Not surprisingly, the news had bike enthusiasts excited.

“It is simply the strongest statement of support for prioritizing bicycling and walking ever to come from a sitting secretary of transportation,” said Darren Flusche, policy analyst for the League of American Bicyclists.

Nonetheless, some business groups have expressed concern that giving walking and biking the same policy considerations as other transportation modes, as Mr. LaHood recommended, would impede progress on other fronts.

“Treating bicycles and other nonmotorized transportation as equal to motorized transportation would cause an economic catastrophe,” warned Carter Wood, a senior adviser at the National Association of Manufacturers. “If put it into effect, the policy would more than undermine any effort the Obama Administration has made toward jobs. You can’t have jobs without the efficient movement of freight.”

At a House appropriations committee hearing last week, Congressman Steven LaTourette, Republican of Ohio, brought up the new policy and asked a Transportation Department official to clarify what Mr. LaHood means by “equal treatment.”

“If we’re going to spend $1 million on a road, we’re not going to have half of it go to a bike lane and half of it go to cars?” he asked, according to a transcript of the hearing.

“My interpretation of that would be equal in the eyes of policymakers as what is the expenditure you make, what is the benefit you get,” responded Roy Kienitz, D.O.T.’s under secretary for policy. “And if the freight project offers the best bang, great, but if the bike project offers a good bang, great for them.”

“I don’t even understand how you get a bang for the buck out of a bicycle project,” Mr. LaTourette subsequently commented. “I mean, what job is going to be created by having a bike lane?”
